Norwich, our second home.

Norwich joined We Are Fred’s story in 2023, situated right in the city centre at 30 Crown Road. It’s more compact than our Chelmsford headquarters, but it plays an equally important role. Together, the two studios give us complete coverage across East Anglia and beyond. Chelmsford anchoring the south, Norwich extending our reach north. Different sizes, same standards. Same strategic thinking, the same commitment to independent work that punches well above its size.

Norwich is smaller than Fredquarters. We’re not pretending otherwise.

But great work was never about square footage, it’s about the thinking in the room. Every project that comes through our Norwich studio gets the same strategic rigour, the same creative standard, the same attention to detail as anything delivered from Chelmsford. Two locations, one level of expertise. That’s the point of running it this way. Size flexes to the work, not the other way around.

Chelmsford gave us London on our doorstep. Norwich gives us the rest of East Anglia, and a clear route further north. Together, the two studios mean we’re never far from the conversations that matter, wherever our clients and partners are based. It’s not about spreading thin, it’s about being genuinely present across a region we understand rather than parachuting in from elsewhere. Norwich completes something we started building in Chelmsford 10 years ago.

We wanted a base that felt embedded in Norwich, not just an outpost. Since 2023, this has been where we’ve built relationships, delivered work, and extended everything Fredquarters started. Proof that good thinking doesn’t need to sit in one place to hold together.
