We Are Fred has been working with the Earls Court Development Company (ECDC) team to advocate the £8.6bn redevelopment set to begin in 2026. Focusing on encompassing the culture and tenacity of Earl’s Court's history, Fred has produced Phase 1 of their new website.

A project of collaboration that has been building and taking shape for four years, ECDC has re-introduced themselves with their new brand and is steering the way ahead with a vision for a new era in one of the capital’s most iconic destinations.

Four place pillars uphold the site – Nature, Innovation, Culture, and Neighbourhood – revitalising and creating new communities in the epicentre of London with both residential and commercial use. And immersed in expansive 20 acres of public realm and green space, including up to 4,000 new homes and 12,000 jobs, skills, and training opportunities.

With a focus on clean energy, climate innovation, and cultural venues, Earls Court will become a model for future urban living, designed for all stages of life and setting new standards for sustainable development.

Our Approach
Unlike traditional projects, our aim was to build a basis and a foundation for the website to be able to develop and evolve with Earls Court’s vision of the redevelopment. The website captures the project’s foresight and impressive undertaking in what will rise to be London’s largest cleared development site. Designing the website, it was imperative that we brought the new brand to life, creating a dynamic and captivating digital platform to reflect the ambition and magnitude of the introduction to this destination of wonder. We strived to display all the key information of the progress and ECDC’s progression to date, with an ease of navigation and engaging visuals. Our intention was to accompany the essential information with complementary designs that are highly visual and convey the imagery and CGIs in the most effective way for the best user experience. The platform also features a news hub for project updates, partnerships and community events, fostering ongoing engagement with stakeholders and future residents. The creation of a new hub that encapsulates Earls Court’s project vision and sits as an informative digital space, sets the stage for the groundbreaking transformation of one of London’s most iconic areas.

Clear, structured content highlights the four key pillars of the project—nature, climate innovation, culture, and community. By integrating vibrant visuals, we have brought the masterplan to life, allowing users to explore the future of Earls Court in an engaging and informative way.
